The question is that can COVID-19 be an opportunity for video streaming services or not?
There are many statistics in this article which shows us this drop in revenue and membership of these video streaming services. One of the reasons is that as many people get jobless, they unsubscribe from all the streaming video websites and platforms.
Although it is a fact, there was an exception in this industry which could have a big rise due to the spread of Coronavirus.
According to digitaltveurope.com, in the article “Netflix smashes target with 16 million signups in Q1”, Netflix is one the Best Video Streaming Services which was able to gain almost 16 million during the last 3 months as the coronavirus effect for this streamer.
The two most favorite videos which make this rise are Tiger King and La Casa De Papel (aka Money Heist).
