IBC 2020 cancelled due to instability situation of coronavirus

Michael Crimp CEO of the IBC community said that there are “still many unknowns” issues due to the coronavirus crisis about holding such events on this scale. So there is no guarantee to hold it safe and in high quality, as people expect from IBC, then we decided to cancel it. It was a hard decision.

“With that in mind and based on what we know at this point, it is with a heavy heart IBC has made the difficult decision to cancel the IBC2020 show,” said Crimp.

So IBC will go on to connect with the industry by digital platforms, IBC365 that will publish soon.

This event was established in 2019 with 56,000 attendees. It was organized to hold on September 11-14 in the RAI Amsterdam. But now cancelled due to coronavirus spread and its problems such as social distance, travel limitations, etc.

Despite the high importance of this media expo, this humanitarian decision to cancel the event is very valuable due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the instability of the situation.
We used to participate in this event every year and we are sorry that it is not possible this year.
